Off to Omaha
This week, I’m heading to Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting.
I couldn’t be more excited.
I’ve gone the past two years, and each time it’s been one of the highlights of my year.
I’m looking forward to hearing Greg Abel field questions—I think this could be one of the most important meetings Berkshire has had in years.
But the real reason I go?
Four straight days of talking stocks.
I interact with a lot of investors over email and on X, but I rarely get the chance to meet people in person.
This weekend is a rare chance to actually spend time together face-to-face.
My general agenda is as follows:
- Arrive in Omaha on Thursday afternoon.
- Play golf with Dominick D’Angelo and Eddie Reilly. We still need a 4th. Anyone want to join?
- Friday Morning: Gabelli Conference
- Friday Evening: Drinks at Old Market (Good Investing Event)
- Saturday Morning: Berkshire AGM
- Saturday Afternoon: Robotti/Fordham Gabelli School of Business Omaha Gathering
- Sunday morning: The Intellectual Investor Breakfast
If you are heading to Omaha, I would love to meet up.
Shoot me an email (rich@stockspinoffinvesting.com) and we can make a plan.
